Headlands is proud to partner with Save The Bay in support of a healthier, more vibrant San Francisco Bay. Over the past few years, we’ve supported their work through cash and in-kind donations, joined shoreline clean-up efforts, and collaborated on an exciting beer release, Pacific Poppy. Stay tuned for a new project in the works for Fall 2026.

PACIFIC POPPY

Pacific Poppy brought our partnership with Save The Bay into the real world through a purpose-driven beer release, limited-edition merch, and a fundraiser at our Berkeley (Westbrae) beer garden designed to give back. This ongoing partnership is a thoughtful collaboration rooted in community, creativity, and a shared commitment to the planet.

In March 2025, more than 30 members of our Headlands crew joined Save The Bay at the MLK Shoreline in Oakland. Together, we removed 50 lbs of trash and cut back 40 lbs of invasive vine to help restore critical habitat along the shoreline.

In March 2026, we joined Save The Bay for another volunteer clean-up day. Our mission was to support hands-on restoration work at their nursery by reorganizing thousands of planting pots to be used in future habitat restoration efforts.

We’ve hosted two fundraisers at our East Bay beer gardens. First, we donated 10% of sales during our Walnut Creek Grand Opening in February 2025 directly to Save The Bay. Then, in October, we donated 10% of sales again during the collaboration release of Pacific Poppy.

Limited-edition merch was also available during that week in October. If you got your hands on some exclusive merch- you’re LUCKY!

Save The Bay is building a movement for a resilient Bay Area through bold policy change, hands-on wetland restoration, and strong community connections. You can join this effort by volunteering, staying informed, or learning more about how you can make a difference.

Cheers to the San Francisco Bay!
